Incoming inspection and scraping
As damage generated during transport from steelmakers is localized, detecting it in later processes is difficult. Performing visual damage inspections at the rod stage and removing it when it is easy to identify allows steel to be fed to later processes in a damage-free condition.

Preventing wrong materials/traceability
From receipt to shipping, confirmation is made at each process. In order to prevent human error, we also use a bar code reading system. In addition, we use acid- and heat-resistant labels to minimize the removal of the labels attached to materials, preventing the shipment of the wrong materials.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Product inspections
Product inspections confirm that the finished goods conform to specifications agreed on by customers. In the rare instance a product does not conform, it fails and the shipping slip is not issued. Inspections cover dimensions, diameter deviation, mechanical properties (tensile strength, elongation, drawing, hardness), microscopic examination (structure and decarburization inspected beforehand in intermediate inspection), surface damage inspection (visual inspection via magnetic particle inspection and manual inspection), and so on.
